1 New York Times bestselling author of the Stephanie Plum series, teams up with Emmy-winning writer Phoef Sutton for a brand-new series of thrillers featuring charmingly eccentric Emerson Knight and professional go-getter Riley Moon.ĬURIOUS MINDS by No. This book doesn't work well for either authors.Janet Evanovich, No. I know Ms Evaovich is a very gifted writer, with ability to tell a wonderful story. I think both authors should really start to think how they can develop the characters better, I think there is hope for the two main characters, with better writing. A close second would be Granny from the plum series.ĭo you think Curious Minds needs a follow-up book? Why or why not? Loreiel King is so good, she brings books to life with making all her characters wonderful& easy to like but my favorite is Lula from the books by the number. Which character – as performed by Lorelei King – was your favorite? I would try any book Janet Evanovich helped write. Has Curious Minds turned you off from other books in this genre? It is hard follow, and the story is slow. This book is just like the series however, it is hard to listen to and even harder to follow the story, it seems as if Ms Sutton used the same format, just changing the characters. I love Janet Evanovich & Phoef Sutton books as the charmed series. Would you try another book from Janet Evanovich and Phoef Sutton and/or Lorelei King?

A plan so sinister that only a megalomaniac could think it up, and only the unlikely duo of the irrepressibly charming Emerson Knight and the tenacious Riley Moon can stop it. Through the streets of Washington, DC, and down into the underground vault of the Federal Reserve in New York City, an evil plan is exposed. What starts off as an inquiry about missing bank funds in the Knight account leads to inquiries about a missing man, missing gold, and a life-and-death race across the country. At least Riley Moon thought it was her dream job, until she is given her first assignment: babysitting Emerson Knight. Her aggressive Texas spitfire attitude has helped her land her dream job as a junior analyst with megabank Blane-Grunwald. Riley Moon has just graduated from Harvard Business and Harvard Law. Good thing he's also brilliant, rich, and (some people might say) handsome, or he'd probably be homeless.

Janet Evanovich, number-one New York Times best-selling author of the Stephanie Plum series, teams up with Emmy-winning writer Phoef Sutton for a brand-new series of mysteries featuring Emerson Knight and Riley Moon, a dynamic duo with instant and undeniable chemistry.Įmerson Knight is introverted and eccentric and has little to no sense of social etiquette.
